- Push the condom to the side of the package and tear it open. Take the condom out of the package, rolled edges facing out.'
- Squeeze the tip of the condom to remove air. Excess air could make it break.
- Still pinching the tip of the condom, place the condom on the end of the penis. Roll the condom down all the way.
- After ejaculation, be sure to hold the condom securely at the base of the penis so that nothing spills.
- Remove the condom, and throw it away in a garbage can. Do not flush it down the toilet.

Tips
- The best condoms are lubricated latex condoms. Lambskin condoms don't block HIV and STDs; polyurethane condoms break more often.
- Remember: use only water-based lubricants (KY-Jelly, Astroglide, Aqua Lube, etc.). Any petroleum-based product will cause the condom to tear.
- Use a new condom each time you have sex.
- Squeeze the condom package before using it to make sure it is airtight. Otherwise, the condom may be damaged.
